About ABI: Board

Keith Recker

For the past 20 years, KEITH RECKER has shaped brands, products and services, into sharply communicative and results-oriented vehicles. He has had the privilege of working with established entities in both the commercial and non-profit worlds, including CARE International, Gump's San Francisco, Saks Fifth Avenue, Aid to Artisans, and Bloomingdale's, and has learned from and contributed to each brand.

His tenure as Vice President of Home Furnishings at Gump's San Francisco and Bloomingdale's, as well as Director of Home Furnishings at Saks Fifth Avenue, has given him a deep knowledge of nearly every category in the decorative home world. His work in product development and marketing has created lasting and cordial relationships across the industry.

During a two-year tenure as Director of Product Development at Granet and Associates, Recker has helped create relationships between interior designers, architects and other creative brands with manufacturers and marketers serving the wholesale and design trade sectors. Clients included Clodagh, Jamie Drake, John Barman, Richard Mishaan, Campion Platt, Jiun Ho, Suzanne Kasler, Pantone, John Varvatos, and many others.

Recker is also interested in the success of artisan businesses worldwide - both to augment incomes generated by handmade businesses and to enrich the lives of makers and consumers alike with individuality and creativity. His work with the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, New Mexico's NextGen Economies, Aid to Artisans, SERRV, and several others, springs from this motivation.

Recker serves on the boards of several non-profits, including The Quiet in the Land, and Chez Bushwick, and is a member of their respective executive committees.
