The Arts Business Institute is partnering with Art Specifier to present a two-day intensive Art Business Summit in Boston this spring. Join us for this important professional learning event!

Boston Arts Business Institute Summit

The upcoming summit will present practical, step-by-step business strategies, and is appropriate for artists and makers who want to grow their small businesses. Presentations will be focused on the challenges artists face in business and how to overcome them, as well as best practices, and information on new markets.

The program includes talks on the following topics:

  • The New Marketplace
  • Creative Marketing Strategies
  • How to Work with Art Consultants, Designers and Stagers
  • Wholesale 101
  • Pricing for Profit
  • Social Media for Artists
  • Sales Strategies
  • How to Sell Art Online

Q&A is encouraged in all presentations. In addition to these hour-long talks, there will be an expert panel discussion held during the lunch hour on on the second day of the summit. Personalized consultation appointments are also available. Artists who plan to attend should book their consultation at the time of registration to avoid disappointment; these time slots usually sell out.

The summit will be held at Warehouse XI in Somerville, Massachusetts, in the Boston area, on Monday, April 16 – Tuesday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Lunch will be provided to all attendees.
